Authors: Paziura, Nataliia;
Abstract: This article presents an experience of East Asia countries in the training of foreign language
teachers with three objectives. The first is to incorporate the principles and values of multicultural
world in the university curriculum. The second objective addresses the question of how to train an
adequate number of highly qualified foreign language teachers with necessary knowledge and skills
to prepare their students to live in the globalized world and contribute to the development of global
and national economies. The third one tries to explore how to apply active methodologies in the
teaching of foreign languages and to provide students with active distance learning tools to improve
and guarantee the quality of the teaching–learning process. The results of the experience of East
Asian countries demonstrate the potential of distance learning for the development of transversal
competencies and the capacity of students to design and solve complex problems with creativity and
knowledge of social and labour realities. The article presents the advantages of distance learning
methods and techniques, which assume the combined responsibility of students and teachers in
generating knowledge conducive to their professional development as foreign language teachers,
corresponding to the needs resulting from the changes taking place in the globalized world.;

Abstract: The article aims to find out whether interactive learning
in ESP language course for future aviation professionals introduction
can raise students’ level of motivation. This study was conducted dur ing the 2019-2020 academic year at National Aviation University (Kyiv,
Ukraine). Testings to determine students’ level of proficiency accord ing to Language Proficiency Rating Scale (ICAO, Level 4) were con ducted in September and May of the same year of education. With the
purpose to learn the motivational effect from interactive learning intro duction students were asked to respond to the questionnaire based on
Attitude/Motivation Test Battery simultaneously with language testing.
The analyses of the data revealed the positive effect of the interactive
learning introduction in future aviation professionals’ training course on
the motivational level as well as language competence level. A greater
impact on students’ instrumental motivation is observed, which can be
explained by the use of professionally-oriented training materials, while
students’ integrative motivation also has a positive effect. According to
the results of the experiment, some other conclusions are made;

Title: PH.D. training programs in the Federal Republic of Germany
Abstract: The paper considers the types of Ph.D. training programs in
the Federal Republic of Germany: individual doctoral programs, which provide for
earning the degree in industrial companies, universities, non-university research
institutions (institutions of Fraunhofer, Helmholtz, Leibniz, Max Planck Societies),
and structured doctoral programs that involve working on research in groups of
doctoral students formed in research, postgraduate, doctoral schools. The research studies the general principles of developing structured doctoral training
programs: the availability of the critical mass of students who earn the degree in
this program (at least 30 people); clear formalization of the training system
(transparency of the admission procedures; system for assessing a doctoral
student's achievements, which is clear and acceptable to the scientific community;
regulated rules of interaction of a doctoral student, his or her supervisor, the
university, etc.), and suchlike. The advantages of each type of Ph.D. training have
been determined. The biggest advantages of individual doctoral programs include
the possibility to freely choose the research topic, to study under the supervision
of a certain professor; those of structured doctoral study programs are short-term
training, funding, being supervised by several professors, teamwork, which
provides an opportunity to share views with other team members, supervisors.
Among the disadvantages of individual Ph.D. training programs, the following
issues have been identified: the long period of study, highly specialized subject of
study, independent study of the material. For structured doctoral programs, these
are multilevel admission procedures, compliance of the Ph.D. dissertation topic
with the doctoral program, overloaded curriculum.;
формалізація системи підготовки (прозорість процедури прийому;

Bankova, Oleksandra
The contemporary development of the aviation sector demands not only technical skills from professionals but also a high level of language competence. English has become the international means of communication in this field, particularly within ICAO standards. Consequently, effective use of aviation English becomes a key factor
for success in this profession. Our study focuses on preparing aviation specialists in Ukraine by incorporating the experience of leading British educational institutions, including Anglo-Continental, Mayflower College, and Rose of York Language School. The objective is to analyze the methodologies and approaches used by these schools for the effective implementation of their experience in Ukrainian conditions. The main goal is to study the approaches to teaching aviation English in British schools, identify their advantages and disadvantages, and develop recommendations for optimizing teaching methods in Ukrainian educational institutions. The experience of leading British educational institutions in training professionals for the aviation sector can be extremely valuable for Ukraine. The acquired knowledge and pedagogical methods will help improve the learning process in Ukrainian aviation schools, contributing to the preparation of qualified specialists with both technical and language skills at a high level. This can enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian professionals in the international aviation services market and support the sustainability and safety of aviation communication in the country. Thus, exploring the prospects of extending British experience becomes a key aspect of our research aimed at improving the quality of
aviation specialist training in Ukraine.
