The impact of the english language on the flight safety

Abstract

Aviation English has become the international language of civil aviation in 1951, when with the expansion of air travel in the 20th century there were safety concerns about the ability of pilots and air traffic controllers to communicate. Therefore, it was important to investigate the impact of English language skills on real life aviation operations to ensure aspects of safety and to exclude the possibility of accidents as much as possible. Since that time aviation English has been greatly improved and learned, however, the question of its role in safety aspects stays open till nowadays.

Авіаційна англійська стала міжнародною мовою цивільної авіації в 1951 році, коли з розширенням повітряних перевезень у 20-му столітті виникли занепокоєння щодо безпеки польотів. Тому було важливо дослідити вплив навичок англійської мови на реальні авіаційні операції, щоб забезпечити аспекти безпеки та максимально виключити можливість виникнення аварій. З того часу авіаційну англійську було значно вдосконалено та вивчено, однак питання про її роль в аспектах безпеки залишається відкритим досі.
