Місце та роль запозичень з англійської мови у сучасній французькій мові

Abstract

У статті висвітлюються основні позамовні чинники англомовних лексичних запозичень у сучасній французькій мові. Увагу акцентовано на ролі засобів масової інформації у процесі запозичення. Проаналізовано причини та ефект використання запозичених лексичних одиниць на матеріалі франкомовної преси. Конкретизовано вплив англійської мови на мовні звичаї французького суспільства. Розглянуто заходи державного регулювання щодо збереження чистоти французької мови.

The article deals with the main extralinguistic factors of the English language lexical borrowing in modern French. The emphasis is on the role of the media in the process of borrowing elements from the English language. Using the French press as the basic material the authors made an analysis of main reasons for borrowings and learnt their impact on the modern language. They also specified the influence of English on the language traditions of the French society and considered the state regulations to maintain the purity of the French language.
