| Abstract: | The article explores theoretical and methodological aspects of the formation of translation competence of the students of Philology as future specialists in translation. Special attention is paid to a wide range of domestic and foreign approaches; current views on the use of modern information technologies and methods which facilitate students‘ selfmotivation are investigated. |
